Week Two: Transmedia Storytelling and World Building

"The Laughing Valley of Ho Ha Ho"

A group of impressed, and amazed tourist, on a carriage, continue their vacation through " The Great Land of Oz". They are now leaving Thumbuma, which is the place to see the  most heroic, and  spontaneous village of thumbs. They're giant bouncing thumbs, that can't speak and they only use their heavy body language to perform weightlifting attractions. The visitors adore them, and admire their physical strength. The group just reached the end of the boarder of Thumbuma, and the area suddenly becomes colorful, and surrounded by glittery sunshine.

The sky is lemonade pink, and filled with rainbows and unicorns. The grass is fluffy, soft, and layered with strawberry lickerish, and chocolate bumble bees. The tourist guide clears his throat, and adjusts his sparkling glasses.

" Just riding across the boarder, of Thumbuma, home of the invincible " Thumbets" we have arrived in the beautiful " Laughing Valley of Ho Ha Ho. World famous for delicious candies and gorgeous views. As you can see, on your right, there in those caves live the crystal gummy bears. They never leave their cave, because if they do they, their crystal bodies will melt, and their gummy juices inside will wash away. Killing them instantly. But in the winter they are unstoppable. When its cold and freezing the crystal hardens and this is when they are most active. They leave the caves, and search for new crystals to add on to their bodies. The more crystals the bears have the harder they are to beat and, most likely is older. Good thing its not winter, and their gentle creatures. "

The tourist grab their cameras, and begin to flash pictures of the beautiful sparkling caves.

" Getting near the next area, on your left you can see the gorgeous lake, called " Lake Soda Pop". If you haven't figured it out all ready, the lake is filled with soda. What makes it different from other lake is that it is a naturally flavored lake. Which means it naturally tastes like that. People today have tried to mimic this soda lake flavor, and sell it as a product you would recognize today. Delicious! I bet your wondering why they don't they just take the soda from the lake and sell it. Well There is a theory that if they were to take the soda from the lake, and sell it all, there will never again be a "Lake Soda Pop". People don't want to take that risk. Its just that good. "

Driving over a peppermint bridge, the group arrive in a part of "The Laughing Valley of Ho Ha Ho" that everyone was expecting and excited to see. Surrounded by fallen apples stood a weeping tree. The bark was brown and grey, but the apples where shinny and plump. Very uncommon.

" Welcome to the place of the given name of this great valley. This tree is the most beautiful, and the most dangerous. Those apples aren't to be trusted. If you were to eat one of those deliciously good looking apples, it would be the worst thing you would ever think to do. For everyone of those apples are cursed. You see in the middle of the tree a person is formed within the trunk. Along time ago a prince named Ho Ha Ho  decided he wanted to take one of the apples for his own. For he did not know that it was cursed by a wicked witch that always wanted the last laugh. She did terrible things. When she died she formed herself within the tree. For who ever where to eat the apple would uncontrollably laugh themselves to death. What a delightful, and terrifying way to go."

Everyone shacks their heads agreeing, and steps back away from the tree.
